After the last of their three children left for college Doug and Sharel bought some land 11 miles from Lake Tahoe in Gardnerville, NV where they continue to manage their company from today.

Doug and Sharel pride themselves in customer satisfaction and believe that honesty and integrity are the pillars of success. The Wilson family has been an integral part of the Lake Tahoe and Carson Valley communities for over 50 years. Together with their knowledge and professional services your dream house can become your home.

Doug Wilson has been in the construction business nearly all his life. His father was a man of the trade so Doug was exposed to hard work from an early age. At the beginning of his career Doug worked in heavy construction building dams, freeway bridges, nuclear plants, and high-rise hotels for companies such as Bechetel Corp., Del E. Webb, Sundt Corp., and Q&D Construction.

For eight-years he worked in heavy construction, using the money he made to pay for college and the union apprenticeship program 1969. After graduating as a journeyman carpenter in 1974, he moved to South Lake Tahoe, CA and continued to work on high-rise hotel projects.
